Description
The Energy Beam Sciences MS3500 Microwave Furnace has been designed to excel across the universe of high temperature heating applications. An extremely versatile and economical platform, it will easily handle all your research, testing and small batch production needs. The unit is compact, at roughly the footprint of a large kitchen microwave, but with an ample 6 Liter heating chamber that accommodates a large volume of sample material. It will evenly heat most materials, including metals and semiconductors, up to 1,200 C in minutes, with no chamber preheating required. It allows precise segmented control of ramp time when slow heating is required. The Microwave power source heats using a small fraction of the energy used by conventional electric and gas furnaces and it maintains very precise temperature control for heating cycles of up to 24 hours. The MS3500 also has atmospheric control by allowing the user to introduce up to 3 different inert gasses into the heating chamber either individually, or in combination, and a ventilation fan for fume removal and/or cooling. It displays sample temperature and process variables in real time and records the data to a USB drive for PC analysis.
