Technovit ® 4006 is a highly transparent 2-component embedding medium based on methyl methacrylate in powder and liquid form. Technovit ® 4006 is used for all embeddings that require transparency, ie the user has to examine the sample through the embedding medium when preparing the sample. Application
Technovit ® 4006 can be used in a variety of ways, thanks to the fast polymerisation time, Technovit ® 4006 is ideally suited for routine work. The mixing ratio can be varied depending on the requirements and required flowability. A ratio of 2:1 is recommended as a basis. The curing time is 11 minutes at 22°C.

transparent: Highly transparent, like looking through a pane of glass, examine your sample during the target preparation! Through the use of high-quality raw materials, Technovit ® guarantees 100% transparency in the Technomat and UV resistance.
Colder: The heat of polymerisation is chemically determined and cannot be eliminated. Technovit ® 4006 is about 10% “colder” compared to other products due to the use of special raw material combinations. Protect your samples!
Low-gap: The integrated adhesion promoter creates a low-gap bond with your sample. The prerequisite for reliable results!
Less Harmful:Due to the product properties that cold embedding materials have to meet, these products must always be processed in accordance with occupational health and safety guidelines. With Technovit ® 4006, however, we have greatly reduced harmful and irritating substances with a new initiator system!
