The CAMEO DISK Platinium replaces a large number of individual SiC papers with just one disc, so that each material is optimally prepared for the subsequent steps.

The CAMEO DISK Platinium can be used in both automatic and manual grinding machines. In order to ensure optimal material removal, the CAMEO DISK Platinium must be honed regularly with the CAMEO honing stone. The peeling intervals depend on the type of material and the amount of samples treated.
Water is the main lubricant used in this pre-polishing stage. For very sensitive samples, water can be exchanged for a non-corrosive liquid.
