TECHNOMAT Pressure Chamber – Cold Mount Polymerization

The Technomat is a compact pressure device that is tailored to the special technology of fast-curing plastics. The pressurization of 2.0 bar takes particular account of the polymerisation behavior of the cold-curing Technovit plastics, as a test aid for materialographic section embedding and surface impressions in material testing. The physical and chemical properties of the plastics are fully retained. There is no odor nuisance during polymerisation.
Polymerization of the plastics in the Technomat creates bubble-free and therefore higher-quality test specimens. The use of the Technomat brings optimal sample results with all quick-hardening cold embedding media, especially with transparent Technovit plastics such as Technovit 4004 and 4006.
