The special feature of Technovit ® 5071 (Dissolvable Mounting Resin) is that the material can be chemically dissolved again. 4071, Technovit ® 5071 is a very efficient cold embedding agent. Type and application are essentially identical. Technovit ® 5071 can be used very variably, thanks to the fast polymerisation time of approx. 8 – 10 minutes, Technovit ® 5071 is ideally suited for routine work. The mixing ratio can be between 1:1 and 3:1 powder/liquid ratio, depending on the requirements and required flowability. A ratio of 2:1 is recommended at room temperature.
